What is the importance of managing global warming? What has the government done to reduce greenhouse gases and pollution? What is the role of corporation in managing global warming? What are the effects of global warming, or the efforts in reducing pollution, on the community? How does public participation play a part in managing global warming? The issue of global warming must be managed together as a multi-stakeholder issue. Nur Masripatin, Climate Change Management Team, Ministry of Environment and Forestry Nur was the Deputy for Governance and Institutional Relations of REDD+ Agency Indonesia before it was merged into the Ministry of Environment and Forestry. She has engaged in climate change negotiations and has been the REDD+ Lead Negotiator in UNFCCC meetings for the past few years. She is also the Coordinator of ASEAN Regional Knowledge Network on Forest and Climate Change (ARKN-FCC) and the Coordinator of Safeguards Information System (SIS-REDD+) development in Indonesia. | Timotheus Lesmana Wanadjaja, Executive Director, National Center for Cleaner Production (BPPN) Timotheus has around 30 years of experience in various fields, including law, marketing, organization and industry, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and environment. He has previously served as the Head of Corporate Sustainability at Sinar Mas Group. He is also actively involved in the Association of Philanthropy Indonesia, International Society of Sustainability Professionals (ISSP), Indonesia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI), Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN), and Indonesia Business Council for Sustainable Development (IBCSD) as committee member. | Syarifah Aini Dalimunthe, Researcher, Indonesia Institute of Sciences (LIPI) Syarifah is a researcher in the area of Human Ecology at the Research Center for Population – Indonesia Institute of Sciences (LIPI). Previously, she was involved in a Climate Asia research that was conducted by BBC Media Action and other institutions such as JICA and EU. Her research concentration includes population and climate change; disaster preparedness; and land use / land cover change. | |
